Read Write Think Learn is an education blog with three aims:

  1. To provide practising teachers with quick-to-read summaries of cutting-edge literacy research.
  2. To empower researchers and university students to be more productive in their reading, writing, thinking, and learning.
  3. To offer interested readers insights into the work of an Australian teacher educator working in the contested field of English education.

Read Write Think Learn was created by Dr Damon Thomas, senior lecturer in literacy education at the University of Queensland.

Damon Thomas

Damon’s research interests include the teaching, learning, and assessment of writing. His undergraduate teaching focuses on language and literacy theories and pedagogy. Damon has won several teaching and research awards and he lives in Brisbane with his wife and sons.
